Can anyone tell me what a 681 three inch performance center Smith might be worth? It is used with no box etc. Thanks

I have a 4" 681 and it is fantastic. I also have a 686-4 2 1/2" . I would wager a PC 3" 681 would be damn near perfect. Slick top,3" what's not to like? Get it and show it to me. I mean us.

You are talking about the Green and Black one? With the Green T Birdsong finish? I have seen them go for $800 to $1000 the last couple of years. But don't see them come up very often.

Man those are nice ones, OP. I can't help you with value, but I know I've been looking for even just a barrel for a while now.

The gun sits at my LGS waiting my decision. It is brushed stainless, ported, 7 shot, 681-4. It is a three inch though. I have a snubbie 19, seems like the 19 covers the same bases as the 681?

Well, the 681 is fixed sight L frame, slicker for concealed carry but the K-frame 19 with adjustable sights is a 1/2' shorter. The 681 is a LOT more limited production and has an extra shot.

How much are the asking for the 681?

If you're not interested in it, I may be...

I think he told me $760? I was trying to get a deal done on a Kimber and putting the 681 in a "hold" status at the same time. Can't be sure, but as a regular I am confident I would get a slight price break.

Seems the ported 357 would be an issue in an evening scenario?
