Probably good for California, but high in my neck of the woods.$400 to $450 would be a good price.If the clowns that we are getting ready to elect will allow us to keep our guns, you will enjoy shooting it for many years.

686 price check, I got a 686-3 6" about 6 months ago for $425 FTF, no box, about 98% with original grips in fair condition and set of Hogues, About 2 months ago, I got a 686-2 4" for $450 and had to pay the transfer + $30, so $480 to me, box but not the original one, it was about 95+% maybe with original grips in good condition. Then last week, I got a LNIB, Pristine, safe queen 686-3 4" in the box with extra set of Pachs and all docs, tools, etc. 99.9% for $475 FTF but had to drive 300 miles round trip to get it so what was that worth $50-$100 at least? Anyway, that's what they're going for in my neck of the woods, North Fla. Hope that helps, Cowford
