I can't see the actual parts to see if they are compatible with your frame, but if the rachets on the new extractor are uncut (not fit to your revolver) the action will not function properly. This is usually not a simple "drop in" situation.

You might be able to swap the extractor from the fluted cylinder over to the new unfluted one, if it is compatible.

I think the left cylinder has the old, and the right the newer style extractor.

"Adjusting the ratchet teeth" to have the action work properly is in the realm of a highly skilled gunsmith.

If the OAL is correct, then the new cylinder will likely work as designed if you can find someone familiar with how to fit the individual ratchets on the extractor.

While I have done many of these, it's not a job for the fainthearted.....and requires considerable training, the necessary tools, and experience. Perhaps you could send it to an experienced gunsmith for fitting if you don't have one in your immediate area?

yes, trick is on the star, with a caliper mesure it and u will see, also, if the new star is not been mounted, u need to work it out and make manual adjustments with a file, been doing that long time ago.
