I checked the s&w site . Didn't see a place to look up date . Was wondering if you guys can help me out . BSM918x. Just bought it and cleaned it up . To good of a deal to pass up and I am a sicker for a wheel gun , so that don't help . Classic story , buddy needed some money and threw this out there . 400 dollar hid from the wife got it . Thanx for any help

Thanx Murphydog . This 686 was dirty and neglected but I am throwing the shine to it and getting the burn rings off the cylinder . Lube in all the right places and this wheelie will be happy again .
