A customer brought this pistol to me to sell for him. He said it was a custom shop gun. Is there a mark, or identification system for verifying that information? Thanks.

How is the action/trigger? It could be "Super-Tuned" by the Performance Center. If I remember right, those were done around 2009-10. The "Super-Tuned" revolvers had a blue with white lettering sticker that shipped in the box with them.

Maybe a call to the mother ship with the serial number could verify.

The Product Code off the box label might help. An invoice or packing slip with a list of custom work done would be another. In this day and age it's hard to believe an owner would not keep these items on a gun that's so new. Not having would be a red flag to me.

I'm sorry, I didn't even get the terminology correct - I should have said "Performance Center", not custom shop in my original question.
