686 barrel 5" CH ?

I see this barrel listed in the S&W parts catalog. I need a better description of this barrel than just 5" CH.

You'll probably have to call to be sure, I know there were at least two made, a full lug and a slightly heavier barrel half lug.

The CH stands for Classic Hunter, which indicates it will be a full lugged barrel.
