So, I can just imagine, many read the title, and went yea, smfff, good luck with that! Call Smith & Wesson.

So what say the experts, dare to guess for conversion sake?

I'm just curious, I would venture to guess not many as it's not a popular size for hunting or carry. Personally, the lengths on these kinda grew on me, and for bench shooting, they are great. I do hunt with the 460, but use sticks, it gets heavy with the bullets in it LOL

This particular 686 revolver my guess is around an 84', I got it used, and just absolutely love it, especially the long tube. She is smooth as Silk.

Since I had that 1 out, I thought I'd bust out a few of the other longer Revolvers I own. People like gun pics, I would think??

460 in 8 3/8"
Colt Trooper MK III in E-Nickel 8"
29-5 8 3/8"
Heritage. 22LR 16"
