Any luck with your holster coming in? Thoughts on it so far?I have the same model. My Texas Heritage IWB from Tucker is supposed to ship today. I'll post initial thoughts once I get it (wed?). I inquired of Privateer for an OWB, but was informed that he doesn't have a blue gun for that model; he said he would try to find one and let me know. I haven't heard back as of yet.
Hey everyone,
My wife was fantastic enough to hook me up with this beauty for Father's Day. I'm looking for some advice on a good quality holster for conceal carry (IWB, OWB or shoulder). Please let me know what you've had experience with...thanks

Pm sent, thanks! That is beautiful! I am former L.E. and always preferred Smith..too bad you are not near me here in Arizona, a friend from church used to be a welder etc and hurt his back so had to quit and had to do something so he took up leather work, he does BEAUTIFUL work ...I just had him do a shoulder holster for me for a PMR30, its terrific, better design than I have seen in other shoulder holsters I have seen, he hand forms the leather, double stitched, excellent....if you get me your email address I will send you some pictures of mine and put you in touch with him. I get nothing out of this, just trying to help you and him out....!
That's too bad and the tough part about finding a great holster. I know it's all part of the "fun" but it can get pretty pricey pretty easily. It's a quality holster, but not for me. It is pretty soft and pliable, and doesn't give any resistance at all to pressure. I know it's not reinforced, but it's so soft that you can't holster the revolver without opening up your belt and pants because the cylinder hits the lip of the front opening and just won't budge otherwise.
