686 vs. 625

Which do you think would make a better choice for home defense - a 4" 686 firing .357 Magnum Remington 125 gr. SJHP or a 625 firing Buffalo Bore Standard Pressure .45 Auto Rim 200 gr. JHP?

I wouldn't be shooting .357 Mag in my house. I'd just use a quality, standard pressure .45 ACP hollowpoint. Big chunk of lead at around 900 fps is all you need...........

I have both, I picked the 625 for the same reason. I don't want to go deaf from shooting a .357 inside.
