My 6906 is shooting low and left. I've tried aiming above the bullseye. The 915 is shooting dead on. What gives? I have Novak sights on both.

I have the same problem with my 6906 low and too the left... that's with a gun rest so it's not me.

Same with my 4006tsw. I always cover the target to hit it dead on. I like the idea of switching to a different grain...I've always shot 180. I also have the Novak sights.

You can drift the rear sight a little to the right, to correct your POI that's to the left.

As for shooting low: S&W semiautos have sights that are set to shoot to directly to point of aim. Many people are used to aiming at the bottom of a small bull's eye to get impact at the X ring.

S&W semiautos would hit at the 6 O'clock area: right where the pistol is aimed.

I got used to it when I first bought a Model 59, over 30 years ago.

Most military and police semiautos are set to hit as close as possible to point of aim.

If your pistol is shooting below the point of aim, using heavier bullets (124 or 147 in 9mm, for example) can raise the point of impact somewhat.

Experiment with different bullet weights. If you don't want to change sight heights just learn where it hits and compensate.

Low and left for my 3913 as well (standing). Must be fairly common. I simply compensate and aim high right. Know your gun!
