696 No Dash Holster Options

Hi all. Been searching the forum and elsewhere to find a carry holster for my S&W 696 no dash (3", L frame). As you all know, this revolver is no longer made and my search has been fruitless so far. Searches on all of the holster manufacturers I have checked don't even offer the 696 as an option. I have seen some posts that talk about the 686 as maybe similar for holster options, since it is still made? Can anyone out there confirm this? I would prefer a "paddle" holster if available. Let me know what you guys think. Point me in the right direction. Thanks.

How about a holster for a Model 69?

Kramer lists a paddle holster for a 696.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. I had a 696 no dash and still have a 3"686 and a 3" 66. worked great for all three although not as snug for the 66 since it is a K frame.

The Galco 102 Combat Master fits my 2.5 and 3 inch L frames nicely.

Any holster made for a 3" 686 will do just fine for a 696. The cylinders on all L frames are the same outside diameter.

You might try Tucker and Byrd... I have several of their products. Quality and workmanship is second to none.



I know this is a M&P but.. you can see the product. The blemish was done by me on the seat belt in my P.U.

Favorite for my 696ND is a LH Cyclone 111 by Bianchi. The cross draw is nicely handy for the short barrel. Tried looking recently for same in RH for a friend with a 686 3 inch, but no luck on eBay.
