Like I said, in the last ten years that I've been carrying concealed, nobody has ever noticed- and I'm seriously not trying hard to conceal. In fact, after church we go out for lunch; I take my sport coat off and hang it on the back of the chair- nobody sees (if they do see it they don't care). When we leave I stand up to put the coat back on- same result.

Now, things may be different in your area. Also, you may perceive that everyone is looking at (collective) you- I'm just speaking from experience that it has never happened, and if it did it wouldn't matter.

Concealed carry is lawful- I will not alter my behavior and act as though it were not.

I was referring to the comment that a lump under my clothes gets noticed and someone makes a scene. So far a decade of open carry and over a decade of concealed carry, it hasn't happened.

To me it just seems like a lot of to-do about nothing, unless people are not being totally honest with themselves (and the everyone else) about why they feel like their concealed carry must be 100% undetectable.

The point being- carry in whatever way makes you most comfortable! I don't stress over someone reading about seven ways to "tell" that I'm carrying- I'm doing so legally so why would I care?

Last night we were supposed to have a meet-up for a guy at work who is retiring. We walked in, saw it was being held in the bar area, and walked back out. It's illegal here to carry in an area marked Under 21. It's a dumb law, and if I carried deep concealment I'm sure I could get away with it, but it's illegal. I'm not about to risk my security clearance and PRP status for it.

I've been thinking about something for a few weeks. So I guess I should post it here.
My nephew started making book safes for people to put valuables in. He was going to collage needed some extra money. Long story short.
I suggested instead of making square cut-outs to start making them for pistols & revolvers custom fit. He took my advice and has been doing well.
I posting this because it's pretty innocuous. A person could be walking down the street with a book in his hand or under his arm and the majority of people would think nothing of it. Also especially for the LEO's who stop a vehicle the book could be sitting right beside the driver and a Red flag might not go off. Especially if it is a Bible.

Something like this, but executed in steel with a quick-access lock & cable stay would be the bee's knees for a removable car gun safe.
