Have I lost my taste for 99% condition guns for ever? Recently it seems I’ve had a need to rescue neglected or abused S&W revolvers, how many will I have to give a good home to until I like pretty guns again?

I don't think that the feeling to rescue them will ever go completely away. I've been known to say (lately) "that you can't save them all"....because you just can't do it.

How I found my 25-2. Guy at show had it for sale for good price as he had crushed ejector rod trying to tighten it up as he didn’t know rightie loosen, lefty tighty. New ejector rod, soak in Kroil and its one of my favorites as it goes with all my Colt 1911s.

There's a satisfaction in saving a rough gun that just isn't there with buying a gun and just sticking it in the safe for eternity.
