Firstly I want to pray for the families of lost ones that tragic day, secondly for the victims of Bengazee last year. Thirdly I want to pray for this great Country and pray that the people we put in places of responsibility do the right thing.

I was just watching the coverage on TV.

Still a somber day...

For me sadness has turned to anger (more or less), the loss, the perpetrators, the helplessness we have about it.

I still take a moment of this day to to say a prayer for those lost and touched on that day.
 
I was working that day, as the day went on almost everything slowed to a stop.
Everyone gathered around TV's and no one said much.

My generations Pearl Harbor.

May those incent people that lost their lives because of this act live with GOD.

May those who caused that tragedy burn in HELL.

R.I.P. to all the hero's and persons that lost their lives because of this horrendous act of murder and terrorism. I hope you will never be forgotten.

God Bless America and those who who lost their lives and the responders who helped during this tragedy. I remember the day like it was yesterday. Getting up for work and turning on the news. Couldn't believe what was happening. Got to work and everyone was watching the telecast and then the sick feeling when the first tower collapsed. Nobody got any work done that day. Was working in the travel industry at the time. As soon as all air traffic was suspended the office was shut down and we all went home. It was eerie in the days that followed not seeing any con trails in the sky and trying to digest what happened.
 
A special note of sympathy to the surviving family of all those lost. New York's Bravest and Finest, we will never forget your courage and sacrifice. Peace to my brothers and sisters as we honor you today and always.

Remembrance without resolve is not enough. Write to the President and ask him why the military trials for the 9/11 conspirators held at Guantanamo have STILL not begun; ask him why our borders are STILL totally unsecure so that terrorists and others can enter our country almost with impunity; ask him why he wants to support the Syrian rebels, who are now dominated by Al Queda affiliated terrorists, the same folks who attacked us on 9/11? The 3,000 Americans who died on 9/11 should not be allowed to have died in vain. If you truly want to honor the heroes and martyrs of 9/11, demand that the President and his Administration do the right things for America, and do them now.
 
Heard the other day on TV that it takes $900,000 + per prisoner per year to keep the terrorists down in Guantanamo. Costly rehab considering that almost to a man every one that has been released is back fighting against us again.

This day makes me wonder why the world doesn't put the same effort into terrorism as they did to Polio. Just irradicate it from existence.
 
Well said by the OP.
I pray for this Country nightly.
Those who forget the lessons of the past or ignore them,
are doomed to see them repeated again and again.
Remember these moments in history and lets not let
them happen again.

A sad day indeed never to be forgotten unfortunately.

I worked with Alex Ogonowski from Dracut MA, his son was one of the pilots I believe in the first plane.:(

New Yorkers showed what they are made of, a fine group of professionals facing a horrific incident.
 
You all said it better than I can--may they all Rest in Peace.

This is also for:
Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith and Glen Doherty. May these Gents get justice.
