I'm looking at purchasing one of these for bullseye competition. Can anyone who now owns the 929 revolver tell me how the cylinder throats are sized? I had one in my hands this morning, could have purchased it for just over $1k. But, I'm concerned if the throats aren't correct will a gunsmith be able to correct a titanium cylinder.

If the throats are too large nothing can be done! With the Titanium cylinder, if they are too small still nothing can be done as any enlargement will remove the coating and quite rapid erosion will be the result. Short answer, NO.

Since I have absolutely zero interest in rimless calibers in revolvers, especially 9mm, I have not looked at these. If there is a steel cylinder variant available I would choose that one.
