952-1 Problems

I recently added an Ultradot Matchdot sight to my 952-1 pistol and have numerous fail to cycle problems. i contacted S&W and they sent a lighter recoil spring but it did not help. I have tried various ammo selections but the results are the same. With the original iron sight there was no problem. i am seeking info if anyone else has experienced this problem. Thanks Makilly

My 952-2 had ejector problems. I returned it to S&W and it works fine now. I'm not a smith, but maybe the additional weight is just enough to change the cycle balance. Might need to send it to them with the optic. Look forward to your future posts. Good luck.

Try an Ultra dot L/T and a BME mount. I put them on my 952-2 and 52-2 and have no issues at all. They are very light and rugged.
