Alright, I wasn't paying attention for a few years and missed the 952. S&W: look at what these things are going for now! Please, please, pretty please, re-release this so I can pick one up without having to sell one of my kidneys. At my age, I can't get anyone to buy one of them anyway.

Are you listening S&W? :(

I bought one, tried it and found it was a little more accurate than my Sig P210, the seller was not very honest as to condition, but I love and shoot it most. So far have shot several thousand rounds through her, and not one hangup. Fell in love with the pistol, then saw another on gun broker that looked to be too cheap, I called the owner and he said he had just bought it at a Vegas show and it just did not shoot too well for him. I bought it, turned out that the barrel was just leaded up (solid). Took a couple of days to clean it up and it is supremely accurate so far I doubt that there have been over 300 rounds through her.

Then not a month later here was another, again way too cheap. The way the owner wrote about her, it sounded like he was selling his only child. I made a bid just to get her moving and the auction closed during the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl and I owned another.

From what I read there were only somewhere around 1,800 S&W Mod 952-1's made. You may very well be looking for a long time, then suddenly there will be one. Just don't give up.

I have absolutely no desire to sell any of mine, will try for a family photo for you if you would like. :)

For me they are the best S&W pistol they have made.

No way S&W is going to bring these back. The "Performance Center" is nothing of the sort today. Its just a name.

Fortunately, while rare, they can still be found on the used market. They are exceptional pistols.

I had a 952-2 SS for years - #1275 - that I sold last year. For me, she was as accurate as my S&W model 910. However, she was a Great looking gun and an example of fine craftsmanship.
