986 PC Snubby

Does anyone have a 986 from the Perormance Center? If so what are you likes and dislikes? Any problems?

Here's mine with a Vortex razor on it. No issues BUT I haven't sent a lot of bullets down range with it either. Grips from Hogue.

My 2 1/2" PC 986 was defective. For details, see my 1-27-20 thread "New 986 unusable out of the box."

I have one and after S&W got it fixed, it is great. I was qualifying on the range and shooting way off. One of the instructors was watching me shoot prone and stopped me. He saw the front sight had walked over to one side. He took the gun and pushed it back with his thumb.

Next problem I had was trying to decide what grips to use:

I looked at a used one that was in excellent condition but decided to go with the Performance Center 327 instead. The .357 round made the difference for me but I must say the 986 is a beautifully made revolver and you could not go wrong owning one.
