Buds called me yesterday afternoon to confirm my order details and to verify that thay would be shipping. Called me back about 3 hours later to notify me that Whoops! They oversold...by a LOT. Said I would be getting a full refund.

Aww that sucks. Did you order Monday night? At least one guy posted saying his order from Mon night shipped. I saw them come back in stock and there were about 50-60 available. I was trying to decide if I wanted any more and when I refreshed about 10 minutes later they were all gone. I didn't see them posted on a forum so my guess is someone ordered a bunch for resale.

The four mags I ordered look the same. The floorplates have a little bit of markings from being dropped, and there is some wear from being inserted/removed. However, considering the current market and the normal market price on new mags is $30-35, I think I did well.

$20 for a used mag with good bones is certainly fair. Call Smith to see if they'll sell you new followers, floor plate & springs and you have a functionally like new mag. That metal is damn durable, I think you'd be hard pressed to wear the body of an M&P mag out, including the feed lips.

Got the two I ordered last week. Like others have said, evidence of use but they don't look any different than my other mags. One thing noteworthy.. they have the previous version of the follower(the one that's been superseded), this is the one that will load 12 rounds in the compact mag and load in the pistol easily with the slide forward. I think I'm going to pull the "new and improved" followers from the 12 rounders and swap them with the followers I just got. The 17 round mags don't care which follower is used.

Got mine today, they look good. They do have the older version followers and base plates. Not an issue to me.
I got the one I ordered yesterday. As others have said it's seen use by being dropped on the range for sure as the floor plate shows some dings. Functionally the mag is fine and since I bought it specifically to use as a beater on the range I've got no complaints.
On another note last week I did buy a few used 15 round .40 FS mags from CDNN and those mags are really in nice shape for having been used. Nothing against Bud's but the CDNN used mags look barely used and only one of the several I bought looks like it was ever dropped a hard surface.

Got mine today. Pretty good shape. Will hopefully try them this weekend!
