9mm Luger & 9mm Parabellum ?

Currently, 9x19 seems to be the more popular reference, but in military circles is often also called "9mm NATO".

In other words, they're the same.

Well, maybe not exactly the same. 124 grain NATO spec loads are much closer to +P than standard 9x19 loads. NATO loads exceed the standard SAAMI loads by about 1000 psi (out of about 35,000 psi).

However (big however), the actual specs of an individual NATO country's military loads can be whatever it chooses as long as it will safely function in any NATO country's weapons. The result is a variety of "NATO loads", some of which are less powerful than the spec.
