9mm Shield on order

Just wanted to chime in y'all I'm in the VA Hampton roads area. I was put on a waiting list in may 2012, gave up after 6 months of weekly calling gave up completely actually. Decided on a G26 just as hard to find right now got a tip from a gentleman on the glock forum out me in touch w a Richmond police supplier. Put a G26 on order was told 2 months maybe well me being me I decided to drop in one day remember I said I gave up looking or even asking about shields to eleviate frustration. Walked right past the s and w counter to glock nothing turned to walk out much to my surprise 3 shields 2 -40. 1-9mm. Guys were in there fingering and drooling over these three that had no idea what they were holding or how rare it was to find. Immediately walked to the car grabbed my military orders and other info and purchased it. Sticker price 450 and they had a shelf full of flush plate mags for it 33 dollars. I asked for mil/Leo discount couldn't do it because they were into it just under the sticker price but offered to order me one w the discount said 2 weeks tops I said mmm no thank you. Noone in this place seemed to understand how hot this gun is unless they rly do see it every day and constantly get them. I will not disclose this place on here but will reply to private emails if your in this area. By the way I love this pistol want a 40 now shoulda got it and begged for someone to sell the barrel but the known mag drops turned me off.

By the way I don't have the tap talk option for this yet working on it so questions or inquiring about were I found mine [email protected] like I said I'm willing to help you out if your from around here if not its a waste of time for me to even tell you because u need a va address to purchase here anyway trust me guys I've felt your pain w being heart set on this pistol it was well worth the frustrations

Well, I contacted a Gun Store about an hour away to order me one.

more than $335 for sure

Shot the 9c today. shot good and the wife liked it. It will be hers.

You know the minute you get your Shield home Bud's will put 10,000 of them up for $335.

Well you can always get another....

I haven't seen Shields on the website for a long time. I did pick up a couple AR15's last month for $645 after the rebate... That's the OR model too!

You have to keep checking! If you look at the AR threads you will see we keep posting when they are in stock. If I see Shields I'll let you know!

I actually want two Shields. One for me for conceal or bag carry when I am at work.....and one for the wife.

Today I took my wife and daughter shooting.

My wife like the 9c....so I will give her that one as her primary. I just ordered her a CT rail laser for it.

I lost my two piece Krylon Camo (meaning a Gen 3 rough lower and a older Gen 2 upper) G17 today. My daughter liked it. I will be issued a new G17 Gen 4 when they come into the academy so no big loss.

I think I still want two Shield 9s.
