In a suit brought about by the Second Amendment Foundation, a 3 judge panel ruled 2-1 that buying and selling guns has historically been part of the right to keep and bear arms.
Like we didn't know that.
A small step in the right direction nonetheless.

Wow. Anything remotely supportive of the 2nd amendment out of the 9th Circuit is major win.

A 3 judge panel of the 9th decided for the plaintiff in Peruta vs. County of San Diego in 2014. Since no one with standing appealed that decision the 9th decided to do it themselves. May 1, 2015 an 11 judge panel heard their own appeal, and as of this morning, have not rendered an opinion. I expect the 9th will continue to act this way on any 2nd Amendment issues.
