You can't copy and paste to another forum - it has nothing to work with - the copy and paste is all on your computer

when you copy, and save to your computer and then UPLOAD to another forum, then there is a transfer

Gentlemen, think of it as your work, whatever you did or do for a living rather than a computer you know **** about. If you were a carpenter, it requires steps - step one, what do you need - you need the picture onto your actual computer and not in your email
step two its saved (usually right click and save as) - then next step...

I just tried what John mentioned above but, still nothing. I also sent all the images I could still find-to Qball by email, so ill let him work it out. :D There should be the three. I'm having another done-but its not going to be ready for a couple of weeks yet-which is a Steve McQueen image from: Hell Is For Heroes. Its of him throwing a grenade. Kinda a dark image-which will be lightened up. The others of course-are the ones mentioned above. One is a still-the other two are the original press releases for the original runs for: D.B and Davy Crockett. The Crockett image has the damned watermark or whateveritscalled? on the image-which has me boiling right now.

There's your famous picture.:D

Churchill was having a devil of a time inserting that 50-round "L" drum into the Thompson he was holding. The bolt on the gun is quite obviously forward. When the bolt is in that position, the drum is blocked and cannot be inserted, as it goes in sideways. I'm not sure if he got that sorted out or not.

The photo is famous, and the Germans used it to portray Sir Winston as a "gangster."

I too am often confronted with not being to download a picture I particularly like. I found a workaround.

If you currently have a graphics program of some sort active, you can use the "Prtscn" key (just above your backspace button). It stands for "Print Screen." It will capture whatever is on your screen. Right click the image generated, and then save it. You can save it as a .jpg file and crop it to eliminate all the non-vital garbage on the screen.

Your graphics program needs to be active for this to work, and you will need to specify which folder you want it to go into.

John

I also do a screen capture then paste it to a blank Power Point slide. From there I can crop it and save it to my hard drive as a .jpg file. Quite simple.

The distinguished actor is now 87-years old! Can you believe that? He is reportedly a bit frail now.

Even harder to believe (for me) is that Clint Eastwood is also 87, and is actually three months older than Connery.

It will truly be the end of an era when those two gentlemen pass.
