A Change of Face

Instead of changing our paper currency, change the coins, make a $5,10 & 20 dollar coin!
All in all my vote would still be for Clara Barton for her role in the Civil War and the start of the American Red Cross! ;)

Andrew Jackson, more than anyone else, was responsible for the "Indian Relocation" aka the Trail of Tears, that claimed the lives of between 3,000 & 6,000 Americans. To this day, a twenty dollar bill has no value to many native Americans. He was not an American Icon. He was a brutal despot. To honor him is an ongoing blemish on the integrity of this nation.
It does to the ones with Casinos...

I think we need to put Alfred E. Neuman and What Me Worry on something! ;)

Come on now. This is a gun forum, right?
Annie Oakley!!!! Sheesh...

Chief Crazy Horse of the Oglala Sioux. He was good enough to carve into a mountain.

We were just there last summer.
On the way up via bus:

I thought there were no verified photographs of Crazy Horse.
Hamilton and Franklin were never President, but they were Founding Fathers.
Hamilton was Secretary of the Treasury, he insisted the United States assume-and pay off-all the debts of the states and the Continental Congress.
Franklin was the only American involved with all four of the documents establishing the new nation.
Madison and Mckinley are on some of the above $100 bills that nobody ever sees.
How about John AND Abigail Adams ? There was a 19th Century bill that showed George and Martha Washington. Or Lucy and Rutherford Hayes.
Two examples of First Couples that were just that. Hayes had Lucy sit in on
Cabinet meetings and take notes, and people back then realized that if you wanted the President's ear you had better cultivate the First Lady.
I nominate Ayn Rand. 1) A woman 2) An immigrant 3) Someone whose thoughts and writings speak to us today.

I know she's a fictional character but I vote for Rosie the Riveter to honor all the females that contributed to the war effort in WWII.

Eleanor Roosevelt would put us in the running for homeliest person to ever be on currency. I would like to see JFK, FDR and Ike removed and return to Liberty head coinage.

Why not just leave our $20.00 bill alone. If something must be changed take Kennedy off the $.50 & put Ben Franklin back & take Roosevelt off the dime & replace him with someone like maybe Betsy Ross or Dolly Madison.
