That wasn't my point.
I think that two-tone 5903 is a swell pistol and if it had a couple of extra bullets in the mag I could overlook a big butt.

My thought is the gun with a short butt is easier to conceal...... hopefully it's carried every day no matter how you are dressed...... and hopefully never drawn in anger/defense.

If I'm going with a full size frame.... I don't see a lot of advantage in a 1/2 shorter barrel/slide. I carry IWB. The SSVs are neat; but IMO were the answer to a problem that didn't exist...... and production ended in it's second year.

So I opt for a shot butt with 7 (3913) or maybe 12 (6906) rounds.... for most of us if you can't get it done with 12..... 3 more..... well you know what they say........

I'd still buy one at the right price!!!!!!

I agree with every thing you say, especially the part about buying any pistol at the "right price"! And it is a swell pistol, even if one didn't use it to carry I bet it shoots sweet and would get a lot of attention at the range!
