A dark side Glock 41 question

I have one inbound and wondered if anyone has shot one yet, and your thoughts on it.
I like the slimmer tapered slide and longer barrel and thought I'd give it a try. At least it doesn't look like the deck of a carrier like the G 21 does.

While I have yet to shoot one, the ergonomics are improved over the old Glock 21's. Like the closed top slide and looks. Its on my short list. I was ready to buy one and then Glock put 17L's into the blue label program.

I shot one a month ago. It's on my short list too. I think you'll like it. Handles well. Other than that, it's a Glock.

If I were to ever purchase a Glock (not likely) the 41 would be the only model I would consider. Really like it's slender profile and longer sight radius but lets face it, even if it's the best looking Glock made it's still one of the uglier handguns on the market.

You're right, there is no soul to them but I don't buy one for pretty, either.

i have one and LOVE it. hate g-lock, but carry a 17 quite a bit. this 41 is one of the sweetest shooting firearms i own. it fills the home defense roll. with an arredondo +3 ext on the mag, and its 17 rounds of subsonic goodness...

The next time you talk with him would you please ask him what holster he uses? It would appear since its the same slide dimensions as a G34 or 35, that one designed for them would work ( or any 22,17 etc. with 1/2" of barrel maybe exposed)
Anyone else that has one, what do you use?
