The dogs name is Winston and he just got out of lock up (2 Weeks)
for doing the same thing to another police car

That happened here in good ol' Chattanooga. His name is Winston, and no, he did not 'just get out of lock up for doing that to another police car', that was the video of his first and only run in with the law. Alot of us started a call-in campaign to spare him from being put down, which was a real possibility. Luckily the Judge was a reasonable man and a dog person at that. Even luckier was the fact that the Officer didn't shoot him.
Winston was Tased and pepper-sprayed, but insisted on pressing his luck, it held, thankfully.
Winstons owner has to tag him with a PDD (Potentially Dangerous Dog) ID, send him to obedience class and has promised to keep him better contained. He had no prior run-in's with the law and no one knows what set him off, but off he went!
Winston got very lucky indeed, the attitude of some Chatt PD is to just shoot, then ask, be it dog or man. Not just my opinion, check the facts. Whatever the reasons for Winstons outburst, he got a second chance, many dogs around here don't. Just North of me in Calhoun TN, the new Sheriff shot a neighbors dog while it was walking in his own yard! His explaination, given grudgingly, was 'it looked like it might be dangerous', this dog was in his own yard, that guy shot towards the neighbors house to kill him, which act posed the greater threat?
Big Man, there!
We are all glad young Winston's ordeal ended up the way it did, I hope he learned his lesson.

The picture of Winston in the lockup does not look like a repentant law breaker. By and large a good dog a small percentage can't behave. I have had one mixed breed and one American terrier and the mixed was more aggressive which was contrary because the mate was a Lab. He wasn't mean, just rough.

I doubt Winston's owner will ever have to worry about prowlers on his property now!

Good thing the local LEO's don't drive SMART cars. Winston would probably bury it in the back yard.
