Take care of that woman. There is nothing better than having someone special in your life. I say this as I look over at my Wife snoring *very loudly* on the couch, LOL.
 
I snuck the 30-1 serial number into the first post actually. But with all of my rambling it is easy to over look. It is 8170xx. The best I could determine was late 60’s. Definitely newer then the High Standard. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

You did, sorry to be so unobservant. And I agree it's in the bottom of my estimate range based on known shipping dates by serial # in my database; 1969-1970.

Thank you for the more accurate manufacturing date. I shared this with my GF and she thinks these guns may have been given to her father by his father (her grandfather). Very interesting!
