A few BG380 Q's

Interested in getting a bodyguard 380.

How hard is the thumb safety to get used to? I'm a 1911 shooter so I'm used to one but it looks mighty small and hard to de-activate.

Do they make a flush magazine floor plate? I would prefer one of those over the little finger grooved one. It even looks like for the same length the finger groove adds they could have just made it a 7 round mag.

With the long double action the thumb safety is an afterthought-no need to really use it!

It comes with one 6 round mag with the finger extension bottom plate. But also comes with a flat bottom plate so you can change out the extended plate if you want. I find the extended plate works well & gives you plenty of room for two fingers on the grip.

The safety is a bit hard to operate, but it is redundant with the long trigger pull.

I find moving the safety lever to "fire" is easy and intuitive when I'm drawing from my IWB holster or pocket. I'm right-handed, and my right thumb naturally lands on the upper portion of the slide. Bringing it down to firing position as I draw the BG380 takes my thumb's knuckle right over the safety, and just a little pressure will move the safety lever, at least it will after you've cycled it a bunch of times).

And as Harry58 said, the magazines do come with a flat plate (though I prefer the slightly larger one since it gives me a better grip on the little pistol).
