Does anyone's .40 shield mag have a little bitty gap when it's in the gun? (Wish I could upload a picture to show) I've put 150 rounds through the gun and after the last range time it looks like a small little gap has started when I put the 7 round magazine in it. Not sure if it's common.

Is there any places that sell a 9mm barrel conversion kit for the .40? I've been wanting to get a 9mm barrel and magazine but scared to order a off brand barrel that doesn't fit.

Last thing, I shot 50 180 grain bullets and 100 165 grain bullets and it seems the 180 grain is more accurate. It seems that the 165 grain shoots low could just be me but I don't know if anyone has any input on that. I've been thinking of changing my hornady 165 grains out for 180 grain to carry.

The Gap is common.

Heavier bullets tend to impact higher than lighter. Reason is usually they are slower and the recoil muzzle rise is just a touch higher as the recoil causes the wrist to rotate upward a fraction more before the bullet leaves the barrel. So it impacts higher as a result.

My duty ammo of choice is
Speer Gold Dot as duty ammo in all three calibers I tend to carry.

I took a BLACK magic marker to the very bottom of the magazines and fixed that problem years ago....
