i own a Ruger Redhawk revolver i strictly keep around for the heavy .44 handloads i use hunting whitetail that i would NOT want to shoot regularly in a S&W N frame. i would love to see a S&W frame size capable of withstanding the hotter .45 LCs, .44s, and the .454 Casull.

Maybe there is some potential in the Governor frame. Isn't that slightly larger than an N?

I could be wrong, but I don't think it is just an N with a big window. Seems to me the cylinder would have to have a little bigger diameter.

But I don't think it is in the cards. If they brought out the gun you are interested in, it would cannibalize 460 sales. I can't see them introducing a new model just to end up with the same level (or maybe just slightly increased) sales volume.
