A Model 1930 Beharden J.P. Sauer pistol(produced early 1930s) was use mainly by certain German police dept. (notice the trigger safety) They were required by certain government agencies. Leave it to the Germans to come up with a trigger safety? (7.65 was used widely by the German police and military)
Thanks for looking,
Joe

Looks like an ideal pocket pistol design... nothing to do but pull it out and pull the trigger. It might not suit those who anticipate an attack by post-modern era zombies. But given the era when it was produced, it would have been very good. And, given the day to day needs of many for a ccw, it might even be useful today.

Another old gun I had never seen before. And it has a trigger safety which shows me that once again there is nothing new under the sun.

I think that's what they call the BehOrden model (it means 'authorities model').
