Hmmm. I'm usually an easy mark for those kinds of items. Just for example, I gave all my kids a Bug-A-Salt for Christmas last year. Bug-A-Salt: The Original Salt Gun – Bug-A-Salt

Of course, Ms. Judy had already purchased "decent" presents for them, but I thought the Bug-A-Salt would be fun.

I seriously considered the Sheet Storm for this year as a great follow-up, but after looking at the reviews it looks like almost a third of the purchasers felt that it was a "cheap, gimmicky piece of junk" that either broke almost immediately or didn't work half of the time and was only worth one star.. Other reviews claimed that the $19.99 price tag was much too high for such a cheaply made item.

Guess I'll have to think of something else.
