A prayer for a child Update: 06.13.2010

The son of one of the investigators in my unit suffered a serious accident and is in the ICU. She is devastated by this. I would humbly ask for prayers and spiritual help for this child as he faces a terrible challenge. From what I understand he got tangled in a dog zip line around his neck and it was not good.

I thank all of you in advance, I will keep all informed as I can.

The boy is still on life support, but they did wean sedation today and he was able to move all extremities open his eyes and respond to his mom - all positive signs.

He still has a ways to go, when the brain suffers this type of injury it takes a while to get back to 100% but he is well on the way.

I can back that up with experience,I put my head through a window when I was two,I still have a dint in my head from that one and I'm fine.....well sorta fine if you know me you know I'm a bit "odd"
