WOW!!! Museum quality for sure. A keeper indeed. Killer stocks!! Not too shabby other stuff on that mat too. Thanks for showing. I can only dream of that nice of a collection.

I like it a lot, thanks for the extra pictures. Who did the engraving? Nice toothpick you've got there too. Sorry we won't see you at Glendale.

Very nice, it would be even better if it was blued!
I have a decided preference for blued guns, and S&W hasn't been doing much in that department for a long time.
To me the perfect K frame 22 would be the traditional profile barrel 3" with a 10 shot cylinder
In fact I would even be happy with a 4" standard barrel in a ten shot cylinder.
I have seen a few of the lugged barrel 10 shot in blue ( not really true blue but that dull finish ) but always 6" guns no 4"

I have a preference for blue guns as well , but for the convenience of not having to refinish , I prefer stainless in an aftermarket engraved gun.

Eddie Viola , Smoke Wagon Engraving, Lake Charles La. He was extremely reasonable , super fast and I even got to drive to his house to drop it off and pick it up.

Thanks for the comment on the Randall. It's an ivory Confederate , another keeper.

Looks great, the gun and engraving and the Randall. I've been trying to get an engraving project going for over a year now and we're still in the design phase although KB has made some great custom target stocks for it. . . .if I ever get it completed.

So, one more question. Do you know where Jim got the 3 inch 617 and how it came to be? Guess I'll ask him about another one while we're in Glendale. Enjoy that package, its beautiful. RKmesa and I were admiring it a bit ago over the phone.
