It happened yesterday while driving around doing a few errands.
Radio playing in the car, this song comes on which I haven't heard in awhile.

I return home, goose up my iTunes collection and have been listening to _______.....

That's why I love iTunes.
I have several songs on my iTunes account that haunted me for years, or I just hadn't heard and/or had forgotten about, etc.

If I hear one on the radio, I buy it in iTunes.

Another trick I learned:
If you don't know the name of a song or who sings it, but you do know some of the lyrics, simply do a google search of the lyrics.

I have identified several songs this way.

I can rarely understand song lyrics, so that is not a good way for me to look up songs. I have been getting pretty good results with Soundhound, an iPhone app that recognizes songs, gives you the artist and title, and then shows the lyrics. It is amazing the number of songs I have been hearing for years without ever knowing the artist or title.
