A2 Flash Suppressor Replacement on MP10

Been trying to replace the stock muzzle device on my M&P10's with a much shorter A2 style. I've ordered a couple generic ones, only to find they won't work without using multiple washers . I know S&W support has posted that some will work and some won't. The Daniel Defense made one supposedly worked, but besides being overly pricey for an A2 FH, it appears to be discontinued anyway.

Any help about which specific one you bought to replace yours, would be most appreciated. Not looking for a brake, etc., just a short, A2 Flash hider.

Yes, the threads are about 1/8 in longer than "normal"!!!

Tacticool sells a nice short compensator that fits. But if you just must have a flash suppressor, a jamb nut setup as sold by JP may be your best option.

5/8-24 is the thread, and I found a beauty on ebay for cheap, not sure where? It is specially machined to cover the exposed threads.

Thanks but still just looking for an A2 type that will fit.

I can go the jamb nut route, but would prefer to just find one that works without it.
