Since the liberals in the fine city of Burlington has proposed a ban on semi autos and magizine over seven rounds, the firing range outside of Burlington that was used by the Police for pratice and training has banned the Police Dept.

The liberals can propose anything they want, but gun rights are a part of the Vermont constitution which also prohibits any town or city from imposing any law that would restrict these rights. Burlington will need to go the state legislature to make any changes and I see little support for this. And to anyone doubting Vermonts conservative nature read the above article.

Ummm, I hate to say this since AZ was a "Red" state voting non Obama...but we just had one introduced here on the 16th .....

On January 16th, Senator Ableser (D-26) filed two bills attacking law-abiding gun owners.

SB 1049 would expand the definition of "school" in ARS 13-3102 (Weapons Misconduct) to include post-secondary educational institutions (i.e., colleges and universities). The proposed laws would make possessing a firearm on post-secondary educational institutions a Class 6 Felony. Under current law it is a misdemeanor to possess a firearm on K-12 school grounds and firearms policy on colleges and universities is controlled by the governing boards of the institution.

SB 1050 would outlaw the possession of any magazine or other "feeding device" that holds more than 10 rounds and make their possession a Class 4 Felony.

I would imagine this has no chance of passage since the Legislature (last time I heard) was Republican-controlled. Am I right?

Well last I heard we voted Non Obama.....but the way things are I nowadays I wouldnt count on anything as much as I hate to say that, all we (I) can do is try to make my voice heard as often as I can to the elected representatives.........

Why don't the democrats be honest and tell the truth they won't all guns. We have some democrats who may stick with us but the majority will go with the grate one . Think about all of the gun grabbers when you go to vote.
