Abbie Update on ST. Patrick's Day

I am sorry that there was not update yesterday. Except for a short time I was either running a fever or trying to get my cough to stop. I guess one round of antibiotics is not going to be enough. Back to the Doctor for both of us on the morrow.
As of yesterday AM Abbie was not doing well at all. And most of the specialists were at a loss to combat her problems. They had stopped the heparin, but her body was manufacturing its own and they could not control the bleeding. And she had become toxic , but because of the bleeding could not start dialysis. They had her in surgery trying to stop the bleeding and to do an ultra sound on her heart.
Abbie's own heart is fighting the Berlin Heart and this event has never happened in the 14 previous uses.
As of last evening, when everybody was just about to give up they arrested the bleeding and will start dialysis this morning.
Abbie's dad put up a message on Abbie's website. If you are registered you should have received it automatically.
Grandma Gail said she has never seen so many Birthday Cards, and they continue to arrive.
Right now that is all we know.
Please continue the vigil.
