I have a 1st Gen M&P9c and would like to purchase a couple
stock, flat base plates. I can find them that are listed for the
9c 2.0 but none specific for the original. Can anyone tell me
if the magazine flat base plate for the 2.0 is the same as the
original model?
Thanks,
Dano

I'd guess base plates are the same for all mags of the same caliber. But I did buy extra base plates for my 9c. Pretty sure I got them directly from S&W website. If you can't find them, call S&W

Be nice if you're right. Couldn't find them on the S&W site. I know some have a square hole and the full size have a different base plate from the compact models. I'm hoping someone who has owned or still owns both versions can fill me in.
Thanks,
Dano

Agree with calling CS. My 9C is restricted to 10 rounds. The 10s have a very different base plate from the 12s. I wanted the pinky extension but couldn't find them anywhere. When I called CS, they sent me 3 for free.

Turned out that the mag bodies for the 10 round FS are the same as the 10 round compact. So I was able to use the extra compact plates to convert some extra fullsize mags.
