Somebody should’ve intervened immediately before the accident happened.
Unfortunately, I see poor gun handling like this all the time at public ranges and even private gun clubs here in SC.
Myself and a few other guys, get hassled all the time when we try to politely point out infractions and the risks of cutting corners on safety rules.
I can’t tell you how many times the people who behave this way reply with something like, “Hey, chill out! We’re just having fun.”
Sadly, that’s where we are as a society: the “bad guy” is the guy who knows the rules, notices a violation, and speaks up, not the guy who breaks the rules!
