Maybe this will help with your question - yesterday I went to the range for the first time with my new MOE 15-22. The first 200 rounds of Mini-Mags were used to sight in the iron sights, the EOTech and break-in the rifle (as if it needed it?) all at 50 yds. Rounds 300-399 were used to see how accurate it was using only the EOTech red dot at 50 yds from a bench rest, shooting 25-round clips. Those 4 clips were consistently 23 of the 25 rounds within a 1 inch pattern. The other 2 rounds per clip were either fliers or me jerking. Noticed that my patterns were in a diamond shape, 1 inch top to bottom and 3/4 inch side to side. Not sure how or what to interpret that as! Have to say I was impressed by the accuracy and consistency. No failure to feeds or failure to ejects, ammo fed and ejected perfectly. As you'll see elsewhere, stock up on the ammo because it's fun to shoot! Bought the rifle for my son to use when he gets older, the father-and-son bonding time thing, since it looks like a smaller version of dad's Rock River 5.56. I can already tell it's going to be hard to part with it, so there may be another MOE getting purchased in the future!
