My first 63 and I just picked it up this afternoon. Tomorrow is new gun range day and with 22's I love to test ammo brands to see what it likes.

I know it is not a custom benchrest rimfire rifle, but I will be trying everything from Federal Auto Match, to CCI Mini Mags, to CCI quiet, to CCI CB Longs, to CCI standard velocity, to TAC 22, to Wolf Match Target, to SK Rifle Match, to Ely Target, Standard Plus, Lapua Pistol King, Lapua Midas, Norma Eco lead free Speed 22, and Federal Punch Personal Defense.

Pretty silly since I will not be off a bench but offhand at 10, 15 and 20 yards. And, I will not be shooting expensive ammo with this 63 after this, but I really enjoy seeing what a new revolver can do.

If there is anything more fun than a new SW revolver I do not want to know about it as I could not stand the excitement.

Truthfully don't remember.
You can probably get a front sight assembly with the bead as one unit and just swap it out for the stock one you have.
Lots of suppliers out there.

Actually, there are exactly ZERO vendors selling a Gold Bead Patridge Front Sight for a Model 63-5 3”. I’ve been looking for one now for years.
