I bought a new 9mm M&P Pro about three weeks ago but haven't had the chance to run any rounds through it yet, just no time at the moment...sad I know...

Although I really like the weapon itself, I did not like the stock trigger, at all.

I dry fired the weapon many times, oiled it, dry fired more, still felt like mud with grit in it.

I read a ton about these before I purchased it and kinda knew this going in.

I ordered an APEX poly trigger and sear for it a few days back, it came in and I installed this evening.

Man, what a difference!

This feels like it should to me, smooth takeup, great break!

This weapon will see some rounds this weekend, I have the time, and an extra 500 rounds to play with!

One note about that install, I was sweating! Glocks I know inside and out, done a bunch of trigger jobs on them.

I was REALLY happy when this all went back together and I had a weapon that was in one piece again!!:)

Nice! Smith redid my M&P 9C trigger when it was in for warranty work, tons better than the original. I wish you had some pictures of targets before and after.

Great gun, I am sure you will enjoy it!

Nice BK, let us know how it goes. Me and a coworker are going to shoot some steel and pins in the morning. :)

He has a GP-100 that I hope to shoot. And I'm bringing my M&P 40 FS for him to shoot. And I'll bring my 1911 of course. It's going to be a nice 200-round day. :)

I have a Ruger American .22 mag rifle I just put a 3x9x40 on, already bore sighted, I'll get it zero'ed this weekend.

I was excited about that, still am, but now the real excitement is going to be this new Smith! :)

The ergonomics of this M&P seem to be outstanding, fits like a glove. With the bore axis so low it ought to be relatively easy to rebound for followup shots.

Ran 300 rounds through the M&P Pro and the weapon performed fantastic!

I was getting about fist sized groups at 25 yards, fairly rapid paced, I am happy with this as my eyes ain't what they used to be!

Function was flawless, no issues. 250 of these were fmj, the last were Gold Dots.

The Apex trigger is all I thought it would be, smooth, clean break, a vast improvement. It''s one of the best pistol triggers in my possession!

The scoped Ruger .22 mag zeroed in nicely grouping inside of a quarter at 100 yards, more than adequate tome.

A great day at the range!

I also bought a 5" Pro a couple of months back and have an Apex competition sear kit in it that breaks at 3lbs. I've done extensive ammo tests, most brands, most weights and the best one consistently has been American Eagle 147 grain FMJ flat point, which averages 3" groups at 25 yards off a rest.

I bought a 5" 9L ported a few months back. I had issues with the FSS and RAM and the trigger not resetting every 2-3 rounds. Would reset ok dry firing. I called apex and they sent out a new sear, sear spring striker block and RAM spring. The trigger is amazing as good as my 3.5lb trigger on my SA 1911. Definitely worth the money....
