Has anyone heard of these shells? Would like to find where I might get some. 3in. 2&1/4 oz. #6 shot turkey loads. Not sure there are still even made. Thanks

No, they are no longer made.

IIRC, they were made in either Va. or WVa. until about 10-15 years ago. They were very good shells, and of course were noted for nickel plated shot in some, and for it's "all plastic" appearance (really, it had a steel washer in the head).

I had a dozen boxes of these a few months ago. My son took a few boxes home, I gave a few to my brother, and I stored the remaining boxes away to use for close range varmint hunting.

I believe the factory burned many years ago.

I have several boxes left over also. I got caught holding them way back when they changed to steel shot for waterfowl, so really have not been able to use them since. They were good shells and good price at the time.

I saw a few boxes at the last gunshow I went to. The seller must have taken out the lead shot and replaced the it with 24K gold. He wanted $45.00 per box. He still has them and I still have my cash. Anybody remember a brand of shotshell called Concorde? IIRC they came out of the former Checkoslovakia. Another good quality budget priced shotshell.

Perfectly good shells, both factory new and reloaded.

Just goes to show you that all that nice shiny brass on everything else really is just for looks.

I bought a ton of them when they first came out, they were C-H-E-A-P as an introductory incentive.
I reloaded them over and over and really got my money's worth. I was shooting 3-gun competition at the time and burned a lot of shotshells downrange for practice.

Still made, but no longer imported into the US. I've been using them for years for turkeys, and the occasional yote.:) I still have about a dozen boxes, but they are all #5's.
f.t.

Grreat shells and cheap to boot-shot the snot out of them at the ducks. I really liked the all plastic shell-the brass tends to get all funked up sitting in a damp shell bag.

used to be a personal favorite till they fell off the map.
fine loads off the shelf and a joy to reload.
theyd make everything else feel sticky in the action
