Watched some of And Then There Were None on TMC Saturday morning. And among the stars was.....
.....South African born Louis Hayward, who got his acting start in Britain before coming to the U.S., was the recipient of a Bronze Medal. He was the Marine captain who headed the photographic team that filmed the Battle of Tarawa in 1944.
After the war, people in Hollywood said he was fighting demons as a result of his wartime experiences.
I watched on UTube the 20-minute Tarawa film he did. Quite graphic.
As a kid I always liked him.
Just wondering how many others remember him.
