Now I understand the whole "barrel shroud" nonsense --- she is going after anything with a handguard or quadrail ... what a c*@t!!

So, she wants to remove safety feature that can prevent burns from a hot barrel contacting skin? Interesting, she wants less safe products on the market... I'd love to see her squirm if somebody cornered her on the subject that pretty much every feature she wants banned is arguably a safety enhancement. I want to see her face when it's pointed out that she is evidently against safety and wants more accidents.

Yup... I caught that also.
And I see she pulled the NFA registration requirement, but kept the requirement that all transfers (even those within a family) be handled by FFL's.

It is nice to know that I can have a mini-14 without a collapsable stock, but I cannot have an M&P 15, that functions exactly the same. Now that I have read the text ... this just confirms this as a socialist gun grab. Isnt she like 80 ?? Maybe a stroke could do us all a favor! My head hurts also ..... 2nd amendment is getting stomped on, and I pray the House, or even some conservative Dems. shoot this thing down faster than an Iraqui scud missle. We will be at war if this passes ....

I also like how her permitted "good guns" list includes items specifically excluded from her legislation.

This should be called "The Scary Looking Black Rifle Ban of 2013" I wonder is some pink Magpul furniture would exempt our rifles ?
But she needs to get these "killing machines" off of the streets. Hey you know what, nearly anything is a killing machine in the wrong hands. Feinstein and her husband are both war profiteers and have made millions from ongoing operations in the middle east.

Going to take some time to fully digest that fantasy. Suffice to say there is exactly zero chance that this will pass as it is written. The legal challenges that would argue form, function and intent would tie this up for years (elimination of specific features/functions on some manufacturers versus identical featuresfunction on other manufactures).
So where is the stocking horse in this piece of doodoo. Surely this can't be it?

Another interesting piece in the bill....
Regarding Hi-Capacity Magazines Page 11, lines 4-8
I take this to mean that any mag coupler or Readi-Mag system would be illegal under this bill.

Strangely we all remember that you openly was exposed to having a concealed carry permit because her words " I was threatened years ago with a credible threat and needed to take precautions to protect myself and family" All i can say is wow. Strangely no mention of what type of firearm she has for protection but one thing is clear in all of this and knowing you has one she has yet to say that i am going to turn my firearm in.... Someone really she call her on this and I think once it hits the house for votes and discussion she is going to get ate alive on this one... Really irks me that I can fight for this country and protect the rights of this country with a weapon they consider to be the same as my home firearms all the way down to my 1911 but I can't even protect my own family. Kind of sickens me to know all my Brothers and Sisters in arms that I lost in the last few tours have died for something we are being threatened to lose ourselves in our own country.

The only handguns this bill targets (after reading it twice) is semi-auto handguns with a threaded barrel, and semi-auto handguns that accept detachable magazines in a location other than the pistol grip.(AR / AK Type) This wont affect your M&Ps or Sigs, unless they have a threaded barrel, but remember existing weapons are grandfathered. The only sticky part I see is the part about any semi-auto version of a fully-auto weapon. This will include some Glocks, and Berettas. Lets just fight until this nonsense goes away.
Why list firearms and not attributes? Rumor has it that this bill was written knowing it will not pass. They listed all of these firearms so they can look backward after the next shooting massacre and point out that they tried to protect us from that evil firearm.
I could not find it, but have heard that elected officials are exempt from this current bill.
