Adjustable sights on Model 41

I am a beginning Bullseye shooter using a Model 41 Performance Center 22. I have been practicing slow fire at 25 yards and have the sights pretty well adjusted for the 6 o'clock hold. Recently I entered my first match but I was uncertain how much to change the sights for the 50 yard setup. I know the black area is bigger on the target so I will be aiming slightly further from the center and the shooting distance is obviously farther so there could be some gravity effect on the bullet. Does anyone have any experience with what typically needs to be changed on the sights under these conditions for this gun?

My guess is 2 clicks up, at most. I don't change the sight setting on my M41. My match ammo is CCI Blazers.

I didn't adjust my sights between 50 and 25 yards with the Victor or 41, 22. You might need a slight 1-2 click change, depending on how you see the target. My Aikman 45 with a Bo-Mar extended front sight got a 4 click change between 50 and 25 yards.
I'd sight the pistol in at 50 yards as a base setting, and then learn what you have to do at 25 yards.

I find that no adjustment is required between 25 and 50 yd line on my 41. The larger 50 yard target is about 2.5in larger in circumference and that is about enough to get you lined up in the same place on the bullseye. Remember.... at 50 yds the bullet is still rising. Keep aiming at 6 0'clock and you should be fine.

Agree with the above posts. I make no sight adjustments between 25 and 50 yards with my 41, or my High Standards for that matter. The main thing is to be on at 50, then develop the proper cadence and trigger squeeze at 25. Scoring rings are the same size on both targets, much more forgiving at 25.

I too agree with the above in that no adjustment is needed . Have you tried a sub six hold ? IMHO it's easier to settle into ones aiming area , focus on front sight & only worry about trigger control . Have you developed a shot plan yet ? Can you call your shots ? Once you figure out what's needed for a good shot & reinforce that you're capable of making one it's just solid execution of your shot plan from there . Depending on lighting & wind & ammo one shouldn't have to adjust often .
