Just purchased my first DAO Smith autos. Bought a couple of 99% 3953's.
The guns shoot left. The front sights on both are definitely off to the right on the slide. What's the best way to adjust these (stock Novak night sights).
Am I best off trying to move the front sight a little to the left with a hammer and brass punch.....or the rear sight to the right?....or ??
Any best practices based on first hand experience with these would be greatly appreciated.

My first inclination in situations like this is to put the front sight in the middle of the housing, and adjust the rear sight until the gun hits where it aims.

A member of this forum makes a sight pusher tool that works well on some 3G semiautos. You should be able to find mentions with a search. But if you can get the sights to move with a hammer and brass punch, that's fine.
