Advice needed please.

I sent my model 65 back to the factory for repair work. I had just purchased it (on here) and the hand just flopped around and there was a good bit of end shake. The gunsmith who worked on it turned the barrel one time which fixed the end-shake. He installed a wider hand and a forged target trigger and hammer as I had requested. I now have it back and when I pull the trigger back it is very smooth, but, if I cock the hammer it binds up and is very hard to pull pull back. It does lock in and does drop when the trigger is pulled. I really hate to send it back as they had the gun for 3-4 mths and I have never got to shoot it yet. Does anyone have a idea of what is wrong here and is it safe to shoot. Thank you.

Obviously, something is wrong, so shooting it is not smart.

Contact S&W and ask for a pick up label so you don't have to pay shipping.
S&W may now offer a shipping label they email and you print out.

Since you're already had it back once, I'd think they would get to it a lot faster this time.
Sucks, but these things happen. Better to have it gone for a while again than to do serious damage to it.

Send it back. Seeing how they installed a new "hand", they didn't fit / file the ratchets correctly.

Give them a chance to make it right. They will give you consideration and not put you at the end of the line.
